The Altar
I did not build the Altar
Only brushed away the dust
My brushstrokes never faltered
As I cleared the blood and rust
In tribute to the loving calls
In blaze of what is just
I stand within these hallowed halls
In waves of love and trust
Seeking for the silken walls
In which the love, a must
I raised it to eternity
In steps of pure delight
I reasoned with infinity
And, now, I see the light
