The poetry train
I see them running by along the track
Unending poem train goes clickity-clack
Each car that passes by contains a few
Whenever, as is always, thoughts of you
Delighted with the hum, though feelings wrack
Never, on those rails, has been a crack
They chug along with smile on engine car
Ahhh, I hope, for love, that they go far
I feel there is some meaning
As they wildly go careening
Through my heart
