I have loved
I find it oh, so, interesting indeed
That I no longer have desire to plead
I have loved in colours bright
No darkness to impede the light
The loving shared would have been nice
But, love imparted will suffice
It blossomed in my heart and never left
Amidst the doubt and questions, rendered deft
As all the facets were defined
The depths of love became refined
The ache remained, but focus was in shards
As split between two loves was in the cards
The love of one whom Gaia had bestowed
With so much more; a blessing and a load
The other was the loving of a race
Remaining in a past they must replace
I cannot be letdown, nor badly treated
The love is whole, its confidence is seated
In certainty, remaining undefeated
I hope one day, one life, it is completed
The devastating fact is that the love was never shared
Enough? for time in which this love can never be compared
It was missing the last two lines for the longest time.
