Dateless

Dates mean nothing. The poems are just ordered as I please. I believe I still have a mostly accurate account of dates elsewhere.

"Change of weather"

I've just been reviewing my latest rhoems.  I am not impressed.  There are so few that seem worthwhile to bother posting.  I do like this one.  There may be a few more but I will probably move them back as I have my favorites available up top to appear on the home page.  I may very well move this one back, as well.

Errr, make that more like 200 poems.  Mostly not worth the paper it is printed on.  They have not been printed out.

Change of weather

I sense it now upon the air

A wisp of something fine and fair

I feel it while I'm far away

To light the darkest, tawdry day

A sudden change of weather

So many senses do converge

A rite of passage, psychic urge

The wonder of together

My lack of doubt may baffle you

My heart and soul both know it's true

No chance of change of whether

I often hope, by standing firm

It buoys you from stem to stern

I'll wait for change of weather

Through days, and nights and lifetimes too

A steady hand to steady you

I'll wait for change of weather
