Dateless

Dates mean nothing. The poems are just ordered as I please. I believe I still have a mostly accurate account of dates elsewhere.

"Home"

This life has been a journey 'cross all fabled time's domain

I've wandered far and delved too deep, the echoes still remain

Too vast, the wonders of this life, too bold, the heart that tries

No matter where I go, my home is always in your eyes

Across a desert, bare of life, the landscape so unchanged

To vaulted ego's mountain peak, where vistas rearranged

And, yet, through all, across all time, my heart just yearned to fly

And, be there, once again, my love, at home, within your eye

On through the forest of the soul with lush growth at each pace

Thru fields of tunes, past ponds of boons, each step leaves just a trace

Unless, within the door's bright frame, I see your loving eyes

No cottage light nor hearth's sweet name, can ever bring the sighs

For, deep and vast, my home is in your heart and in your eyes
