Dateless

Dates mean nothing. The poems are just ordered as I please. I believe I still have a mostly accurate account of dates elsewhere.

"Traveller"

 Traveller

Between the stars a spirit roaming free

No tethers tied that anyone can see

Perspective, granted by the distance, glossed

So much is gained but, oh, so much is lost

The juggernaut sought love for all his kind

Illuminating all had left him blind

No room within this life or in his mind

No setting set aside for him to find

Distances are measured 'tween the hearts

Each galaxy alone as it departs

Fusing of the two, becoming one

Was written twixt the stars as he flew on

Relieving burden was the chore he took

Releasing love in every single nook

With all the love released, where is the star

He passed beyond the bounds both near and far

Now, his star is dimming with its age

As he released the loving from its cage
