Projections
As I ponder life's projections
I find, so often, my reflections
Cluttering the scene
Peering through the windowpane
A mirrored view reflects the rain
Amidst a profile lean
I cast upon each view I sought
A remnant of my ways and thought
It changes images I view
To look like me instead of you
This is really old. As with much or all of the rhoetry I wrote with a certain person in mind, this applies to both Tapestry and Avalanche. The wizardry and mastery seldom leave my mind. Altogether, it's pretty nonsensical, though, at the time I wrote it, I think it meant something. I'm not sure what.
